Grants in Action
Over the past 15 years, more than $300,000 in financial grants from the MLEF have been awarded within Mountain Lakes School District. We have enriched the areas of technology, science, and the arts. See some of our most recent grant distributions below.
Kathleen Wolters Scholarship
Each year the MLEF awards a $1000 scholarship to a MLHS student. The student is chosen by the faculty. The 2023 scholarship was awarded to Aaron Caso.

Past Fundraising Events
In 2020, the MLEF raised $70,000 for the Mountain Lakes School District by raffling off a brand new Mercedes (pictured below with Superintendent of Schools Michael Fetherman).
Our MLEF Annual Spring Gala is hotly anticipated by the Mountain Lakes community year after year. It brings together over 100 local businesses and sponsors for an unforgettable evening of food, drink, dancing, Vegas-style gaming, and unique auction items.
